If I hear the curse of any other team I think I am going to scream. Cleveland sports teams just never get it done. We have the best athlete in basketball and sill struggle. Why can’t we get it done? It is official – Cleveland Sports Teams are cursed. Does the Bambino exist on the shores of Lake Erie? If Cleveland can’t win a championship this year, with this team, this superstar, and this season, it may never happen, ever… Clevelanders deserve a champion. After all of these years of suffering and still one of the best fan bases in sports, it really needs to happen. Go Cavs.

Everyone is saying that this American Idol finale with Adam and Kris is one of the best ever. I want some of the crack that everyone is smoking. Adam is the worst vocalist to make it to the top 10 that I can ever remember and no one even remembers the other guys name – Kris. Had to look it up myself by the way… What is wrong with you people? Seriously! Adam really stinks and he screams out every song. If he becomes the American Idol, he will probably go down in obscurity faster than Taylor Hicks. What is the fascination with this guy? Kris is decent but he is totally forgettable. Danny had the best voice of the three and he went home because he had no stage presence. Kris got lucky with one song and unfortunately, it will not be enough to win. One of the worst seasons in a while. My 2 cents…

With the advent of new technology, there comes the advent of new problems. Drivers have plenty of distractions but texting while driving is almost like punching your own ticket to disaster. Our family recently suffered a very painful blow – physically and financially – due to this growing problem. Please tell your friends, family members, children and anyone you know that this is like playing russian roulette. There is a bullet in the chamber and every time you pull the trigger, you can die. Keep your eyes on the road and your seatbelt on so you don’t have to suffer or cause suffering. Nuff said…

I went to a new type of networking function the other day called SNAP -“Super Networking Accelerated Program”. I call it speed networking. You basically give one minute pitches of yourself, your product, service or business to a very concentrated audience. It works amazingly well. Here’s how it goes: Every table has the same number of people and every person gets a number. The person who is number 1 stands up and has one minute to pitch to the other people at the table. You state your name and your business or reason for being there (advertising your business, looking for a job etc…). After your pitch you ask anyone at the table if they can help or would like more information. If they are interested or can help, you give them your card and you can hook up later. You only give out your card to people who show interest and you only ask for their card if you are going to follow up. Then you move to the next table until every table in the room has heard the pitch. Then person number 2 goes etc… I was amazed at how quickly it went and how interesting it was to hear people present themselves and their business. It was by far the most effective way of networking I have ever been to and I only passed out cards to people who wanted to know more about my business. It was organized thru LinkedIn and was publicized organically thru word of mouth. I will assuredly be organizing one of these types of events in the very near future. Stay tuned…

If you are one of these people and bought a car from a dealership, you didn’t get a good deal. Truth is, these people NEVER get a good deal. I have been on the inside of many, many, many of these deals and they have been great commissions for everyone involved except the customer. Just because you can afford it, doesn’t mean your salespersons commission slip has to be the one framed in the lunch room (I have seen this many times!) or talked about at sales meetings. Our service will be your secret shopper and inevitably, save you money and hassle. Contact us today! Click Here!
